THE PMP METHOD is in full effect! Some of you have already been raving about how great this method is and I’m here to break it down for you and offer some really good advice based on your porosity!
THE BREAKDOWN
Penetrate
This step is important to avoid hygral fatigue. Applying coconut oil to your hair a prepoo prior to shampooing your hair will block excessive amount of water from your hair strands that can potentially cause damage (hygral fatigue).
Moisturize
This is key! Your hair needs moisture to thrive, just like beautiful soft skin needs lotion lol. Depending on your hair, you may need to moisturize daily or every other day, either way a cream based or water based moisturizer will do the trick!
Protect
This step is crucial to keeping that moisture inside your hair. Oils are great, but hair grease (depending on your hair type) would be even better! This step will prevent the water from the moisturizer from evaporating off your hair and actually keep it within the hair. Cool right! 🙂
